Director, Growth & Partnerships

We are looking for someone who shares that belief — and who has the experience, relationships and passion to bring it to more institutions. This is a role for an educator at heart who understands how universities and colleges make decisions and who can engage senior academic leaders in genuine conversations about learning innovation and institutional change.

TeacherMatic is the trading name of Innovative Learning Technologies Ltd, a UK-based company and wholly owned subsidiary of Avallain.

What you will do

Drive institutional engagement and sustainable growth, with strategic focus on Higher Education particularly in the UK
Own the full partnership lifecycle — from first conversation through to agreement and onboarding
Build and steward long-term, trust-based relationships with universities, colleges and sector stakeholders
Lead presentations, demonstrations, webinars and consultative discussions focused on educational value
Represent TeacherMatic at conferences, exhibitions and sector events
Develop pipeline, manage forecasting and contribute to strategic growth planning
Collaborate with product, pedagogy and marketing teams to align educational value with institutional needs

What you bring

Drive institutional engagement and sustainable growth, with strategic focus on Higher Education
Senior experience in institutional engagement, business development or partnerships within education
Strong understanding of HE procurement and decision-making processes and institutional dynamics
A track record of building trust with senior academic and institutional leaders, and with the various relevant national agencies and organisations.
Genuine passion for education and the thoughtful, responsible use of technology in learning
Comfort working independently in a fast-moving, remote environment

Desirable

Experience with EdTech, AI-powered learning solutions or digital learning platforms
An existing network within Higher Education or educational organisations
